Chris Marsall
Emmy Award winning, CHRIS MARSALL, (Producer/Writer) began his career
in the television/film business as Video Technician/Playback Operator
for commercials and then as an Assistant Director on shorts and music
videos.
Chris moved from film to television, doing camera and audio for TV sports
allowing him to work on some of the best events of sports television such
as two Olympic Games, Superbowl XXXII, The US Open, 2 Goodwill Games,
3 NBA Championship’s and the World Series.
Always trying something new, Chris switched gears and learned computer
graphics. He’s created on-air graphics for broadcast of live television
programming such as sporting events, pageants, and game shows. His extensive
client list includes Major League Baseball, the NFL on FOX, FOX Sports,
NBC Sports, ESPN, CBS, CNN, the NHL, CNBC and MSNBC.
His graphics have appeared on shows like The Tyra Banks Show, The Sharon
Osbourne Show, Who’s Line is it Anyway?, The Jerry Lewis Telethon
and Mad TV, as well as game shows Supermarket Sweeps, ‘21’
and FOX Family Channel’s Paranoia. He won a Sports Emmy with NBC
for his graphics work on the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
Chris’s first 35mm short, ‘Puddlejumper’ won the festival
award for ‘Best Comedy’ at the Arizona International Film
Festival, the ‘Audience Harmony Award’ at DancesWithFilms
and ‘Best Short’ at the Ft. Myers Beach Film Festival. ‘Puddlejumper’
has traveled the globe screening in roughly forty film festivals in six
countries.
Chris also produced ‘Living in Walter’s World’, another
comedic high definition to 35mm short, currently doing the festival circuit.
His latest film ‘The Do Over’ is just starting the festival
Circuit. It’s a dramatic short film that explores the idea of change,
“Sometimes… Change is Permanent."
He’s gearing up for his 3rd year as Co-Producer for the San Juan
Mountains Film Festival held in Colorado every November.
