Dave West West began his career in Arizona - producing, directing and acting in multiple theatrical productions. His work won him 'Best Actor' of the 1990 American College Theater Festival. After attending New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts, West worked in off-Broadway and off-off Broadway productions. Upon moving to Los Angeles, West worked on movies of the week, on the feature film God's Lonely Man and produced and directed theatrical productions. West was cast in Academy Award-winning director Ernest Thompson's The Westside Waltz, starring Liza Minelli and Shirley MacLaine. Looking to expand his opportunities West switched to the other side of the camera. He produced the comedy short, Et tu and directed the comedy short, The Virginity Monologues. West also co-wrote, produced and starred in an independent television pilot, Day Guy, which recently won “'Best Pilot'”at the TV Pilot Festival. West can currently be seen in the comedy feature film, BachelorMan, an
award-winning favorite on the festival circuit. In addition to playing
the part of Artie Spires, he produced and directed the “'Behind
the Scenes' for the film.
